Digimon Adventure Tri: Kokuhaku Review

Spoilers: DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW!

I was finally able to sit down this morning to watch Digimon Adventure Tri: Kokuhaku and lets just say did it bring on the feels big time...I couldn't stop crying while watching it because it was an emotional roller coaster for me. I felt so bad for Takeru and Patamon and Meiko and Meicoomon. Poor Meiko dealing with the lose of her partner and for Takeru realizing that Patamon might end up like Meicoomon. I also felt really bad for Koshiro because he was trying to figure something out to help save their partners. Hikari was kind of a mystery and I felt like it was like when she got possessed in the original Digimon Adventure with the light surrounding her. I was never really a big fan of that version of Hikari from the original Digimon Adventure and was glad they got rid of it in Adventure 02. On the topic of Adventure 02 I am very curious what happened to Daisuke, Miyako, Iori and Ken and their respective partners. I know they got defeated by Alphamon in the opening for Tri but what happened to them after their defeat? Alphamon was seen fighting a Digimon called Jesmon when the group got to the Digital World so that makes me think he didn't get rebooted like the others and Meicoomon also did not get rebooted and lose her memories either because she is seen calling out Meiko's name. The biggest surprise by far is that Gennai was masquerading as the Digimon Emperor and he seems like he and Maki Himekawa are somehow behind the destruction of the world. Also how did Maki Himekawa end up with Ken's black D-3 and where is Ken...I was surprised that none of the eight DigiDestined questioned how she got Ken's digivice.

The 4th movie titled 'Sōshitsu: Loss' will come out on Feb 25th, 2017, AND IT'S A SUPER LONG WAIT!

I don't know if anyone else that watched cried but I couldn't stop crying my mom asked what was wrong when she got home because I couldn't stop crying.
